This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
+ A( O$ E; g; _-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
1 F1 Q. `$ @  P/ I/ L+ c-        Building and managing supplier relationships
  k8 s, x. k& r* P-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
* N2 b) Z* ~: @5 _5 g9 a* U3 o
Requirements:
- Sound research skills
) u5 |4 ?9 T9 T0 ~" t7 L, @- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
" U9 ^$ R- e, I, e" j! \- Friendly and outgoing personality
# B# A9 E3 d% X) n- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
* `$ D2 t4 b* T- _' {- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
: \  ]( Y3 Z. J- P- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
