Nine Day Tours to British Columbia. Visit the beauty of Western Canada that people come from all over the world to see including: Jasper, Columbia Ice Fields, Lake Louise, Kamloops, the Frazer Canyon and Vancouver. After two nights in Vancouver, we will take the ferry to Nanaimo and drive down Vancouver Island to Victoria for another two nights in “Canada’s England”. You will love the flowers and enjoy the Saturday night fireworks at Butchart Gardens. (The fireworks are the reason our July and August tours leave on a Tuesday.) Returning to the mainland we will travel across Southern B.C. to the Okanagan Valley, B.C.’s fruit belt, including Penticton and Kelowna. Then on to Banff before returning home. This trip includes over 3500 km. of travel but will be an experience you will never forget. (Ask anyone who has gone with us in the past.)

Accommodation and Food. We will be staying in hostels, which is dormitory type living (the cheapest way to go), with males and females in separate rooms. You can prepare your dinner and breakfast at the hostels - cooking utensils and dishes are provided. When we depart, please bring a lunch for noon and the ingredients for dinner and breakfast on the next day. You may either prepare a lunch in the morning or you may purchase your meal at the place where we stop for our mid-day break. On day two and throughout the balance of our trip, we will stop every day at a Superstore before dinner to buy ingredients for dinner and breakfast (and lunch the next day if not eating fast food). You should budget about $100.00 for food for the trip (unless you eat a lot!). Also, allow extra if you like to eat out a couple of times. At noon on day three we are planning a group salmon dinner at the interpretive centre at Hell’s Gate (We plan to cover the cost). Our normal practice is to stop for breaks every two hours at points of interest or just to get out of the vehicle (usually there’s a washroom).# F9 Z, L# G: w% k
