从sterling买的新房子，本来说的7月29号possetion，但是前天刚刚又收到sterling的信，突然把possetion day推迟到8月26号了，现在租的房子已经退掉了，也跟sterling联系过了，到现在也没有消息。请问这种情况该找哪位律师咨询一下呢？

如果你用的builder的律师，试着问问看他愿不愿意帮你；如果你用的自己的律师，找你自己的律师帮你解决。如果你想告你的builder，找个做诉讼的律师问问。

I am calling around a few lawyers for some free consultation against Sterling Homes, they usually will hear your issue over the phone and give you advise. In my case, both the 2nd and 3rd lawyers advised me to hire one to represent me since I have the Purchase Agreement. The first one is coincidently one representing Sterling Homes. He still listened through my issue though didn't give me any advice.

I got those Lawyer's number throught the Lawyer Referral 1-800-661-1095. They will refer you to some lawyers. Also my financial advisor from Scotia Bank also gave me 2 lawyers' number aftering hearing my dispute with Sterling Homes. You can try the 1-800 # and get some #s and call them to get some advice.

In my case, I have given Sterling Home enough time to answer or make an proposal and I even filed a online complaint through BBB's site which reached the sales Rep the same day. I am sick of being stalled like this and will go to the Provincial Law Court to file a claim against Sterling Homes. I might get some advice there as well and I might not to need to hire a lawyer at all.

I think we should fight for our right. If they clearly break the legal contract, they can't win the fight. As writing this reply, they called me finally after I showed my strong dissatifaction and taking further action through the Provincial Law Court in the email sent to the sales rep which has been forwarded to the higher management. Let's see what will happen.

FYI, if you have family member in a school, they might have free consutation and that person might help you contact the builder and give you some advice. In my case, we got advice from Norquest College.

请问：第一个possession date 实在什么阶段给你的？我记得他们说签买卖合同时不会给你定possession date, 只有等他们确认了大约的possession date（比如）2012 年2月底, 他们才会提前一个月（2012 年1月的）通知你possession date 会是2012 年2月底。您说的是在这个只有他们又改时间了？

你可以去找jeff chow。在网上找下，40万以上的房子平均在1000到1200左右的律师费，包括所有杂费开支。
