Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb" e) ~! b8 V+ I; T! Z* \) [) q
The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
' S$ C1 h' r' n: O! PThe gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume) + I) L8 C8 r+ O
After convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG, S+ ^) q4 N% L$ v" Q. W6 e, O3 y! B
! @$ S: d6 ^3 ]( I+ {$ g+ m& D
Official gas mileage is MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29

Conversion:
