Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants., e2 p7 w+ l5 c+ K" ~1 G& _, @2 n
0 e+ v3 O) `7 a1 Z1 W" nPolice say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana./ {1 u8 b( J: a; o: D) B% d% ?* p/ v
% H6 k) j) B/ E3 OOfficers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

9 }9 Q! z1 o. f( h1 sPolice say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.9 f1 S& N0 e0 I& M% x3 M
