There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.% J- j% J. U1 H; t
Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.4 k2 ]2 Z) k, y6 } H4 \+ q% D
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only., Y- z( |! S; m5 S; O% f# p

! C; y- `6 Z. t) n7 YThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
$ z) I- B4 a2 W9 d% XGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
9 h% U- f `; t) r# M, p6 U {- }The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
