Waterton远了些,开车比较累,也比较费油...虽然有几条线路很有吸引力...
目前在我今年计划中的有Banff的Helen Lake-Cirque Peak和Bourgeau Lake-Harvey Pass-Mt. Bourgeau还有Yoho的Iceline至少走其中一条.
所以随便找一个八月底九月初的周末都可行,征集能走的...

刚从Waterton回来，风景非常不错（个人认为至少不亚于Jasper和Banff)，
基本上一天半可以把所有大景点玩下来，我们走了几条1-3公里的trail。
另外还有两三条trail很有意思，如果对hiking有兴趣建议安排两天半时间，
喜欢野生动物的也很适合去，碰上各种大动物的几率比北面的几个公园大多了

你说的这几个线路基本还是scramble，但听起来不错。

要是去yoho，距离也不近啊，而且iceline的trail一般，yoho最好的也就是o'hara了，但需要几天时间。

另外想参加的朋友最好先确定一下是backpacking，还是dayhike or scramble

I am interested in doing backcountry backpacking or day hikes in the long weekend of Sept. Maybe in Jasper or Banff? As Waterton is way too far. Lots of hiking trails are waiting for us to explore.

做计划容易...

星期五晚上去Banff或者Lake Louise宿营,星期六一早起来去上Bourgeau Lake - Harvey Pass - Mt Bourgeau,全程来回24公里,爬升1530米,Harvey Pass到Mt Bourgeau登顶是Scrambling...

下来在营地里过夜,第二天早上拔营,走Helen Lake - Cirque Peak,全程来回17公里左右,1043米爬升.最后几公里Cirque Peak登顶是Scrambling.或者走the Iceline via Little Yoho Valley,纯Hiking,全长21.1公里,爬升690米.如果实在第一天太累就走条更短的,例如Sentinel Pass,全程11.6公里爬升726米,不过这条是熊区,要求至少四人一组.
走完下来回Edmonton...
星期一在家睡觉...

楼上两位要真有兴趣这周末去,就要今天睡觉前把人员敲定,时间会非常紧张...看预定Tunnel Mountain 1似乎还有地方,要去就赶紧定,来不及就只能去碰first come first serve的运气了...我没啥信心...

这里的好处是不需要tent and sleeping bag.

Berg Lake Trail很漂亮，第一天就可以走进去住Berg Lake。但我觉得两天少了点，如能在Berg Lake 住2-3晚最好，因为MT.Robson周围的day hike很值得走走。

另外这个线路很热门，尤其Berg Lake的营地需要早早预订。如果订不到，还有几个备选。
