Just mail back your explanation why there is no activity again. then ignore the voucher after you mail it. It usually takes 1 month for CRA to update their system. Or sometimes they keep mailing you. Just ignore it, not big deal as far as you dont own source deduction.

Instead of writing your "temporary out of business" on the remittance voucher, you should write a formal letter, quoting your file number, and then esplain the reason for temporary stop of business and when to restart. (this letter should be send to the assessment department) Don't write on the remittance voucher, because it only serve to collect money. Remittances, a separate department for money collection.does not handle the enquiry for the assessment department.
