the young punks come from the east are a bunch of sorry ass gold diggers, they are usually struggling with the rent, and don't have the habbit to save the down payments, their money mostly be spended in bars and some other crazy places. it will take them years to get into the real estate market. actually, a lot of them are going back where they came from becouse of the high rent and housing price.& J, q8 _ }7 M, y1 N8 A' Y* v
Media did a wonderful job to misleading people. yes, oil make some people rich, but not the average joes. Edmonton mainly attracts working class people. Calgary gets the bosses and the management. even that, the housing price in calgary is going down hill. Why?becouse the market over reacted. look how many houses and multifamily have been built in this 3 years. do you really think there are so many "right" people with loads of cash come to live here? investors from outside of the city are cashing out now. that make the listings today tops 8000 compare to last years 1500. where you think the market will go? this market adjustment will take several years./ q& P. k, O. if you don't want to do long term. it's still not too late to sell your properties. I am puting 3 of my properties on the market next week.
