有谁知道用 ICF 建房的吗？

想用 insulated concrete forms 整体建造房子，不知道是否可以建平顶屋顶作为露天平台？

ICF 的坏处是什么？

In most cases ICF construction will come in about 40% less than conventional (basement) construction because of the labor savings from combining multiple steps into one step. Above grade, ICF construction is typically more expensive, but when adding large openings, ICF construction becomes very cost effective. Large openings in conventional construction require large headers and supporting posts, whereas ICF construction reduces the cost because only reinforcing steel is needed directly around the opening.
ICF construction can allow up to 60% smaller heating and cooling units to service the same square footage which can cut the cost of the final house by an estimated $0.75 per square foot. So, the estimated net extra cost can be as much as $0.25 to $3.25.[8][9] ICF homes can also qualify for green tax incentives further lowering the costs through tax credits.

what about the floor and roof, can i use ICF as well, what I want is flat roof patio, people can go up to the roof top to enjoy the view. what kind of support for the roof or floor that I can use? steel or wood?

If all you want is a roof top patio. Wood frame construction and sbs roofing is the most cost effective way to do it

sbs roofing 好像是工业用的屋顶，最外面（顶面）铺设是沥青面料，好像不适合人在上面观赏风景。

我要建的房子在温哥华地区，雨水很多，人在屋顶摇摆凳子观赏风景， Wood frame construction 迟早有漏水的一天。

我想 ICF 屋顶是concrete，就像国内的平顶建筑，不用维修，一劳永逸。

以前干维修时经常上到工业厂房的屋顶 sbs roofing，这种屋顶并不适合人们在上面经常挪动或移动，否则的话沥青面料迟早会被踩坏或被损坏。

。在加拿大不管任何建筑结构和建筑材料，到了屋顶都要做防水包括浇灌水泥平顶。因为气候的原因，除了斜顶+metal roof。其他形式的屋顶都有使用年限，到时候都要进行防水层的更换。水泥房顶有多种保温和防水方案，最常用/便宜的就是Rigid insulation + SBS。然后再在SBS上面构筑roof top patio, 而不是说直接行走在SBS上。

是否用过 Krystol Internal Membrane？到了屋顶并不需要做防水，是在混凝土搅拌的时候加进去，是永久性，这样的话省了很多防水层的更换的费用。并且使用年限和房子一样长。

SBS应该不便宜吧？商业/工业上最常用/便宜的应该是EPDM,当然还是比住宅的shingle要贵

本地来说还没听说过用这个构筑整个屋顶，用来做水泥墙裂缝修复倒是常见。平顶在商业建筑比较多，要建筑行业接受新产品并不容易。主要是责任的问题，就是万一漏水谁负责。而且很多时候漏水是在各种管道穿透屋顶的地方，这方面SBS，EPDM都足够成熟有各种方案。

看来楼主是要盖一豪宅了，其实可以用钢结构+水泥地面，外墙spray form + arcylic stucco. 如果预算不是问题的话，地热+太阳也许能更有意义

有意思，你的这个说法和我平时所做的以及从contractor那里得到的信息刚好是相反的，我的项目，一般的多数用EPDM, 而少数要求较高的或者在Fort McMurray等极寒地区的是用SBS。
看来你是做roofing的？能提供link或者资料来佐证“EPDM is better in the long run, but SBS still cheaper this days.“吗？谢谢！

有这样的产品，不知谁有这方面的消息，可以肯定房子的结构一定要有承受 concrete roof 重量以及雨，雪，风以及人踩上去的载荷的能力。参考方案有钢结构和concrete框架结构，不知哪一个好些？

你提到的材料技术大多是用于公共，商业，工业建筑的，用在别墅住宅我不知道是不是最好的选择，但是很支持你的这种精神

那我建议你跟你的roofing contractor再确认一下，或者考虑换了你的roofing contractor

EPDM: Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer
EPDM is a single-ply rubber membrane that has been used on roofs in the USA since the1960's. It is relatively inexpensive, simple, and clean to install. There aren't the odors and fumes that accompany built-up roofs which appeals to many property owners and managers. EPDM roofing is designed to exhibit superior flexibility, high strength, and outstanding weathering in practically all climates. The three standard applications for EPDM are fully adhered, mechanically attached, and loose-laid.

SBS Modified: Modified Bitumen
Modified Bitumen roof systems consist of one-, two-, or three-ply systems. It is installed either by torch or hot asphalt, with a base sheet followed by interply sheet(s), and then a cap sheet. Modified membranes can also be installed in conjunction with built-up roof materials, such as multiple plies of fiberglass felt, to form a hybrid roof system. Modified roof systems have proven performance on residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

我没说它有问题，只是说不一定是“最好的选择”。
看了你的链接再重新看了你之前的帖子，原来你是要在温哥华建，我原来没仔细看，想当然地认为你是在Edmonton. 在Edmonton这里ICF还是相对比较少用的，在温哥华可能用的比较多些。
ICF的优点肯定有很多拉，缺点主要有几个：
1。造价贵一些，而且很可能不止上文所说的3-5%
2。(在Edmonton)做的不多，做的人不熟练，所以施工有可能不象其他方式那么顺利
3。之所以ICF在温哥华用的多一些，在Edmonton不普及，是因为两地的气候差别：It also depends where the house is being built, when you reach -40 for a couple of weeks a year you also lose out on one of ICF greatest benefits - Thermal Mass.

钢结构和concrete框架结构，不知哪一个好些？

如果用ＩＣＦ做concrete框架结构，干脆就把ｂａｓｅｍｅｎｔ以上的墙壁做成 large openings，　 large openings　里装落地玻璃和窗户，就行了。由于 large openings 减少了 ICF 的用量，省了成本，又可以发挥 iCF 载荷强度大的优点。

不知道钢结构如何？

我的房子BASEMENT用的ICF，ICF墙体才6”，普通墙体一般用8“厚的水泥，感觉上除了保暖，载荷强度不应该比普通墙更大。

你觉得 ICF 有什么不好的地方？譬如说因为都是发泡expandable polystyrene，外墙难以钉上防雨塑料板材等等。

ICF每隔6“都有塑料支撑可以固定各种板材，我只是不太明白ICF的墙体厚度比普通的小2“，它的承重怎么能达到要求？靠水泥的标号？

ICF水泥厚度可以选择4寸，6寸或者8寸。

ICF结构的basement理论上成本低于普通basement，主要是因为ICF施工效率高。别墅的整体外墙全部用ICF的，我还没见过。如果有人了解别墅的整体外墙全部用ICF的优缺点和成本对比方面的信息，望不吝赐教。

但我见过5层楼房的外墙全部用ICF。我想优点应该是，外墙施工效率高，结构强度高。但对于仅仅2层楼的别墅，是否有必要，值得讨论。
