Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
7 I5 u/ l) M! A, v6 e( A3 S1) Any bodily injury or death;; n+ ~, {7 U# ~8 f+ Z; ~
2) A Hit-and-Run;7 o3 h4 v# O1 }/ S
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
0 g( o, Y5 P- x3 H4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;# x9 m8 z8 d! E7 U( ]
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

' \' m/ o% A, u; H: MNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters.
