I checked RBC, TD, and crdit union at the end of last year and below are some thing I learnt.1 |1 J; K9 t. |8 ?

2) talk to a broker since they can offer more discount* k- T3 q8 k/ Z9 F' @* d9 p" b
3) all the banks could find a way to match the lowest rate you got from other banks since they need your busniss. so keep comunicate with other brokers when you get new lower rate.5 R# a! V3 ]: u- G1 ^5 A9 W
4) do not focus only on rate. there are some other things such as lump sum payment method and penalty amount need to be compared. keep in mind if you can pay lump sum any time when you have some spare cash, it will make big different comparing to once a year method. our total borrowing cost droped a lot since we paid our spare pennes to the lump sum at the earliest time. ) x7 h( n7 x1 J0 M& b1 x9 Y$ h# U. t$ Q" Y' `.
