* \- k, d( L! B4 s2 ?' r( ]2 \This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

5 ]. b( w' w) CThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
: ~7 ^; P) c. E2 s/ ]7 z-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
  z" Y3 }& W6 @- S9 K" G% U; d/ N0 Q& E9 T-        Building and managing supplier relationships
/ F8 m' k, M- F; z4 q) ?( c! f-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
  y; M7 e; j- n6 B7 {- L- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
. {& o$ t: m+ [# r6 Q& F- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
8 `: k5 K0 z0 b" M# R5 v& u- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
2 U9 J# a7 O0 s- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
' v+ @, g. ]8 o% o4 A0 g- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
