As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:& @, F3 Q9 o6 Y' A5 E2 x# b! V z
/ K6 j, v, e0 x! Q! q6 b! I& J) S. l
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
8 e1 L2 g& W! y, D- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. $ m" i2 _8 e- N' Z7 h
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. $ ?) W! P$ |% i% L8 _; a
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 7 g4 x, v2 N; \! }# R$ J
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
& r& }7 A+ j$ B. y; b. O- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements
v9 q: [3 M7 e8 {2 x6 F+ Y1 k( w
' ]) w, \) o& n4 t! k- Previous supervisory experience
7 b Z# g2 \! J' q) A5 V0 z- Strong leadership skills 8 R5 J; Y z V7 P. {$ j
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
8 O6 {" f5 j# _5 W2 R- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
( s& x% Q7 a2 n3 k; m- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations + M8 {% e4 j' d0 d: _; G: {
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.* j( `) S3 O1 J& |
