到加国后申请夫妻团聚移民 但visitor visa 快到期怎么办

1、在加国申请了夫妻团聚移民 但是visitor visa只能呆6个月到期需要申请延期吗？还是团聚下来前一直可以呆着？
2、来了准备生孩子 由于去年在加国结的婚可以使用老公的医疗保险 但只能在签证有效期内用 ，怀孕可以申请开放工作签吗？还是签证申请延期再续保险。

如果在加拿大境内递交渥太华，申请递交后又file number可以申请spouse open work permit

可以续visitor record。visitor没有资格用Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan。需要拿到work permit才行

You must have valid temporary resident status (as a visitor, student or worker) and live at the same address as your sponsor.
