介绍：Record of 24hrs in Tibet 2005

Tibet,with its snow-capped plateau and known as the roof of the world,is located in southwest 7 P$ R6 X& q# j" z- g7 N( m7 J
China at an altitude of over 4,000 metres above sea level.The world’s highest mountain peak Mt. Qomolangma (also know as Mt.Everest),the grand Potala Palace,the musterious ruins of ancient
9 \1 r+ q, ~3 @Guge Kingdom,and all the stunning sceneries of Tibet have attracted toutists both from home and abroad. Tibet has a long history of cultural exchange with other ethnic groups in China as well as other countries. The wisdom, doligence and courage of the Tibetan people led to the emergence of a rich and unique Tibetan culture,treasured in China and cherished by the world.6 P. Q. T& }- u# i' ?* \3 K1 F

In June 2005,with the support of China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture, The Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and China Overseas Exchange Association organized a Tibet tour for more than 20 well-known photographers from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Starting from Lhasa, the photographers were divided into several groups to visit Qomolamgma, Qamdo, Nyingchi, Nagqu, Ngari, Shannan and other areas,recording the daily life of the people in Tibet though their camera lens.

! s- b) q. E" m5 \3 }% mOn this vast virgin land, there is sunshine, blue sky, white snow mountains and green lakes. The photographers were intoxicated with colourful sculptures, exquisite Tibetan paintings (Tangka),traditional attire and adornments as well as the wonderful atchitectures. Every shot captures the beautiful and precious moments of nature,arts and people’s life .The pictures recreate the wonderful moments seen through the eyes of the photographers:the simple ethos, the happy life, the harmony of society and economic development of Tibet.
