1, it is possible to grow mould underneath the new top layer if you don't remove the old top layer3 i" q& o" g4 I6 O! t

3, it's very hard to anchor it down with the baseboards, etc

installing the new carpet is very easy, but again it's a lot of physical labour. carpets are a lot heavier than most people think. plus, you'll need to do your own measurements, cutting, transportation of new/old material, etc.

X2 gend of roll usually have good deals on material and labour to install carpets. give them a call to see if they can swing you a deal. depand on the size of your room and the grade of the carpet you're looking for, I'm guessing you can get away with less than $750 all in.
