Her guest was Tommy Hilfiger. On the show, she asked him if * G& F2 s8 C% U7 Z. |3 m
the statements about race he was accused of saying were true.
! K+ ]# O( k4 C/ Z& V4 XStatements like'... 'If I'd known African-Americans, Hispanics, Jewish - K) n, W: V) E9 K
and Asians would buy my clothes, I WOULD NOT have made them so nice. I wish these people would *NOT* buy my clothes, as they are made for upper class white people ' % R9 c @+ E( N6 k3 K6 z$ N
! w# ]+ T3 x2 \6 S; P2 o: C
His answer to Oprah was a simple ' YES' . ( Z/ e8 L) h' K, x# @# j* p
Whereafter she immediately asked him to leave her show

Obviously disturbed by this, she called the air Hostess.. ; t5 x( s4 X. w2 @8 S
'Madam, what is the matter,' the hostess asked. ' ( O( B, i& J9 u/ V2 J6 A
You obviously do not see it then?' she responded. ' , Z7 ?: m; p- w3 X% Q9 V
You placed me next to a black man.

could say anything, the hostess continued: 'It is not Usual for our + ?; q0 p$ b3 m0 q& y ?
company to permit someone from the economy class to sit in the first $ k& Q$ c7 H# x, [3 X* y0 N" a+ k6 P
class. However, given the circumstances, the captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting.' She + A, j/ C( ?! J$ s4 k
turned to the black guy, and said, 'Therefore, Sir, if you would like to,
