今天学到了一个单词：sarcastic

最近教公司的一个美女普通话。

她问是什么意思
% [' ?! ?. i' p: g- R: I( M我接着说“美女means "beauty". you are 美女"
她说：“is it kind of sarcastic."

/ p9 j$ ^6 d* I她说：“someone say you are smart but it doesn't mean you are really smart."
我说：“OIC，you are 美女。i mean that."

如果你说她 blond 的话，就有点 sarcastic 了。
- l+ s+ s- I) \4 q3 e你的同事可能朝这方面想了。

我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片，孩子们累得睁不还眼，我下面写的评注是： it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?
there, I was being ironic
ironic 还可以形容一个situation， 比如：al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world. (好容易让我编出这么个例句来！）
! ^& t8 e6 ?9 ksarcastic 有更多感情色彩，有主观上的一种伤害，攻击的意愿，是坏的intention

还拿如花的例子说，这个情景对话两个词都能用到：
如花： hi 美女
美女： are you being sarcastic？
% q. I+ |6 f+ i8 ^& \如花： i swear， i mean it， you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen！
美女： thanks！ ironically i was just told by my brother：if you are not pretty，better be polite。

我觉得

ironic是两个情形之间的矛盾关系。比如“竹帘家照片上神采奕奕”和“实际上很劳累”的对比关系。比如“昨天领导还讲话”，“今天已经被革职”。

sarcastic是对某一事物的批评性的讽刺。比如“叫我美女是恶心我呢吧？”“才贪1000万，太廉洁了！”
