我个人认为，Euro cars top lease list正说明欧系车比日系车更受高收入层人士青睐。试想，你要是卖车的，你是想有一拨忠实的，每两三年换一次车的客户群，还是有一拨忠实但从一而终，买辆车期望开十年的客户群？

7 s+ w! V0 U8 w! a( bYou have a point. But remember, Lexus still sell/lease more cars than BMW or MB in the US. Selling long lasting products will reward you with conquest sales. So, your point is not really support by their market performance.

& {3 I6 i' I" f( n3 Y# m4 dAnd, let's say, if someone ask for suggestions regarding car lease/purchases of luxury cars, we should recommend:

0 K& K" H* r* @3 Q3 B1) If your are going to lease it for 2~3 years (typical, all under warranty), Germany cars are good, if not the only, choices.
2) If you are going to buy it, avoid German cars, because 6 out of 7 very smart and rich persons chose a lease over a purchase.

Selling more doesn't necessarily means better nor more luxurious.  Honda Civic is the best-selling car in Canada, Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in the world, Ford F-150 is the best-selling truck in North America.  Inspite of all that, people don't regard them as best cars/trucks.  They just seem more appealing to more people.

FYI: I drive one of the DFBB cars myself and bought new, but when the time comes for me to choose a luxury vehicle, it will defintely be an European.  (Maybe I'll even lease it.)
