(2) You can see the Vancouver harbor from land, i.e., Stanley Park. You should also see the Vancouver harbor from within. To do so, go to Granville Island (very famous for its market place) and go to the docking area where you can rent a speed boat for approximately $40 per hour. Don't worry if you never try boating before, the owner will show you how to operate on the spot. And you will be crusing in the Vancouver harbor in no time! The experience is really worth the money. If you pay cash, probably you can bargin a little bit. But make sure you bring your DL.

(2) If you are on budget, you can check out the U of Victoria residence where you can probably get very descent rate in the dorm.
