If you dont care if it's purebred or not, you can adopt one from SPCA, Petcetera, or Petsmart, where they have new-born or very young puppies occasionally, and adult dogs anytime. The price will be of just a little bit different or even the same. Anyway, think more about your own responsibility...A dog's life is as long as 10-15 years. Have you been really prepared to welcome a new member to your family for that long? You are still a student now, and have you thought about it when you are busy studying, taking exams, graduating, looking for jobs, moving to new locations, being married, having children, ......?
