you will be able to apply for immigration by declaring your common-law partnership with your cohabitant boyfriend at the lawyer. you guys don't have to get married if that is your question. the form could be downloaded from www.cic.gc.ca. you can just bring it to the lawyer and have them signed.

As long as you have lived with your bf for over 12 consecutive months, you are can apply for PR under common-law class. 2 r6 L$ S, L- Y& O. m/ c8 I- G 1 b* {' Y) k9 O% ^" s4 ~2 v( X% ?I recently had my application process completed by CIC under the common-law class. I printed out the Declaration form on the CIC website and had the Commissioner of Oath sign on the form(with a small fee). You can do this at any registry. The whole Sponsorship+PR process taken up to a year in many cases. Just keep in mind that you have to provide as many documentation to prove your relationship as you can. Good luck.
