# k- w E* L3 ]This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
0 C+ H4 u5 K6 w' r) zbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.6 U& s" _/ C0 H, y. U- h

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
1 z( P/ N" R# }/ n5 ]/ q5 n0 u; iof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
7 p& o4 J$ _1 ucertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
