烤蛋糕

• 1 cup sugar
7 @) {! z6 }# \5 z3 B• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
! j4 M$ W+ ~ d5 w$ T5 M7 D$ b• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)& r) N4 v8 G: [, f
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
& ?8 w7 \4 a& @% k% V• 4 eggs, well beaten

1 o$ k5 y0 Z* M) OBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
2 x c! \3 t8 c/ T5 ITurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. ( t0 k! h5 T0 H9 ^# e3 b5 k' C
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。5 @3 ^4 g' d- p1 |- n7 X7 t# [
