About background check

2 q+ U8 K6 F) B: J"We have requested background information from other government
2 Q* \6 P1 l! S; eoffices(s).  Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing
- q, t& V8 t- O8 [0 [8 Y# t3 Wof your application will be complete.  We cannot respond to requests for
+ ~# O3 a3 v3 q; F/ Ithe status of your application before this information is received."

5 y$ z1 O8 c" C. H. F4 p+ DDoes this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!

不用太担心，他们的回复都是同一格式，不代表一定在作背景调查。我也收到过这样的回复，后来request了一个CAIPS NOTES，发现是不知为什么我老婆得Medical Examinaion的结果他们一直没收到。现在我们就要landing了。你也可以request一个CAIPS NOTES，看看到底是怎么回事。

不一定就是背景调查，　也可能是查再加拿大有无犯罪记录什么的，不用担心。
