CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
$ X  @9 i% c4 k$ z+ t1 y% L•        Manage all accounting transactions
: ~. b7 a$ M) M( c$ M•        Publish financial statements in time
8 J2 c1 F0 L- J•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
% D  e8 K4 e* m. T& L•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
, _' h2 B( s2 J) Z* V•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
( l& o' R7 @% X
•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
/ j! S8 ~5 S6 }/ Y3 }" B! l. ?•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
% X0 f3 [; O9 ~+ t•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
: R) J. w* b- w4 K( M9 }•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
