As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

# t3 o9 ?1 Z9 F: L) j9 u- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
' p' Q! D y7 @1 X: S. U3 l$ ?- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
8 ]$ A6 W3 v/ h; I- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
4 E" v( K* F# e7 H! j0 L R/ h- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. , A) [2 a: O' e% Z0 s2 P
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
: W) P" n+ A7 ?4 m2 P2 @, z- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). # p0 O5 B7 O0 A# P, V

- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
; P) Y5 l$ t6 b- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
3 [. l: [" L& S) ]. P& G- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations " B( }' z- }& v. U% |+ V0 B7 T) k
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.' ]: V! Z( }0 d2 F
