Hope you are getting well.
Although you wish to have a Mandarin speaking injury lawyer to represent you, you have little chance to get a good one if you limit your search to mandarin speaking lawyers. The injury lawyers are very very tough lawyers in the damage claim circle. They have to be experienced, extremely tough and articulate to represent you.  They will take away 35-40% of what they recovered from defendant as the lawyer fees anyway. Some may have to go to court, most are settled out of the court.  Good luck! and wish you the best recovery from the accident.

你不用太担心，你找个英文好的朋友和你一起去见律师就好了，一般personal injury你第一次见律师他看看的你的case有没有的打你要不要决定打，如果决定要打，签一个retainer（相当于雇佣合同），然后和他手下的助理提供各种个人资料，对方的保险资料，你的医疗资料就好了，然后就是漫长的等待。很少会上厅，基本都私底下settle。 如果你的证据比较有利，对方保险给你一个offer，你满意了律师才能接受这个offer。一般律师收offer的30-40％。 你需要翻译的机会绝对不会很长时间。
