& |* w( T$ [0 N We live in Magrath Heights and we are currently struggling with our 5-year-old daughter's to Kindergarten registration. I wonder if there are parents in Magrath, MacTaggart area who are struggling with this issue as well. I wish to explore possibilities to group up and help each other out on making our lives easier with the half-day kindergarten program.

* K3 z" P. V, i4 H9 i) L( R We need to make up our mind as to which school to register to since one kid can only send in ONE registration at a time, and it can be really hard to switch school in the middle of the year. Currently there are two options for my daughter:% I3 r% T/ k7 B6 _. p! {
/ u9 O* f h( Q8 [9 YOption 1: Regular program - a new school - Nellie Carlson(http://www.epsb.ca/schools/newsc ... ions/nelliecarlson/) is under construction and scheduled to open September 2016; boundaries not finalized yet.

! M" {2 W9 g% ^8 X8 }8 o IF we fall under the final boundary, what to do with the afternoons? My husband and I both work full-time 30 minutes drive from home. I maybe able to take one afternoon off in a week, part-time is not likely an option.% Y% t* P/ Q/ \2 t3 G, K
0 q: l+ [6 ~; n/ R$ p$ H/ R. pOption 2: Mandarin Bilingual program - Parkallen School where there is a YMCA KinderCare close by, $755 a month, AND there is a wait list.& x6 m m" z' k j
Honestly, I wish to send my daughter to the Mandarin Bilingual school, but again, there is the afternoon issue, YMCA is not guaranteed and expensive. I wonder if there are other parents considering this school and we could come up with a program to support each other and incorporate with Chinese elements. 1 l# V3 ^9 |( j( I6 I- g( {
