请教：门前树下的一圈石子怎么铺？

去年才买的房，今年门前树下的那一圈石子上已经有很多草长了出来。
! T) J+ v& c  U1 B( S% s我想要把石子重新铺一下，不知道需要注意些什么呢？

是不是这些步骤？
' j' d$ U% p! O. \$ G+ `/ G把石子移走
把下面的landscaping fabric移走
皮圈里面的草拔掉
. e. \/ W) I" y: |! M$ f(需不需要在剩下的土上喷一下除草剂呀？会不会连树一起给灭了呢？)
铺新的landscaping fabric
! W. j6 t, \. a6 s+ C再把石子铺回去
. E6 p$ y' ^! }+ {% D$ N% c: h

底下铺一些碎木头或树皮，草就不长了。上面在放上石子。
