The opthalmologist likely felt confident about his/her diagnosis based on the symptoms without the need for culture test. It's hard to say. % l9 _3 B" n$ f: u4 |1 SIn your case because it's getting worse, the best bet would be to go to ER again and specifically ask for a different referral for a different ophalmologist.
