The Importance of Walking

    My grandpa started walking5 `# H1 L: J5 M9 ]
    five miles a day when he was 60.
1 Z2 _! H$ J, }( L4 N$ I    Now he's 97 years old' r! X+ p$ b+ d) [6 e1 ~2 S- {8 y
    and we don't know where the hell he is.
0 {7 m" S- S  Y) @7 M+ e! W  + a5 }  e. E3 C/ W  l7 s# V
   I like long walks,
1 d) i2 Z( k1 E- `: i8 q    especially when they are taken7 e$ B5 B: Y) L  |
    by people who annoy me.
" X+ |9 ~2 l0 @% [  1 x4 I3 A/ Y4 Q' r/ i, W
   The only reason I would take up walking' p  j& d! {$ e4 l( Q: U
    is so that I could hear heavy breathing again.
. `  V) s) N* J# y- P* S; E  
$ F6 L$ d: Z" D' y; ^% }' I    I have to walk early in the morning,
, e7 |' b+ ], o5 a9 u    before my brain figures out what I'm doing..9 m  J. X2 N7 w7 s: M9 d
   
! o% A/ h5 C* {+ B$ V6 g$ d/ G& b   I joined a health club last year,+ k; G% O% D/ J6 Z$ u/ b* v
    spent about 400 bucks.
2 w$ ?& }8 `" t    Haven't lost a pound.) Q) r' Z: m7 @2 E/ F4 o. D
    Apparently you have to go there.- p+ T1 K, d. h( N/ {1 K4 u% T# }
  0 }4 {. I0 B. w. J, U. Y
   Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise',1 C/ T: O3 f5 ~, U+ S- M
    I wash my mouth out with chocolate..2 U  m# c0 n% Q( ]
  
+ F' k3 V# @. E) Y0 M   I do have flabby thighs,% ^- r! Z, i4 Q, K7 ]/ N
    but fortunately my stomach covers them.6 e+ _1 e" g$ x

5 ?' P' @# j) F0 T; O% f1 M    The advantage of exercising every day; s2 D: e8 A* Z
  &n bsp; is so when you die, they'll say,
2 s& S! n; i% B    'Well, she looks good doesn't she.': `/ Q7 k! y( Y
  
9 Z( Y2 }( ~6 ^! G   If you are going to try cross-country skiing,) {2 t& `0 u8 G. P8 `8 t5 D  e
  start with a small country.
9 z+ t& }; U6 {/ T6 p   / [- h8 @, L/ W! A9 G! G
   I know I got a lot of exercise
+ ^) r6 J3 ]' f0 b3 B( }    the last few years,......$ ~0 m8 ^5 M2 c. Q* c
    just getting over the hill.: T$ G* E2 k5 C* M  d5 s/ j

+ s1 p  O  X$ d  P  We all get heavier as we get older,  ?+ h- M5 n% \9 H+ H5 R9 P" ?
    because there's a lot more information in our heads.
8 W$ t& H6 k  S! s* y    That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
* A# w" q$ r0 N5 X% D# x+ L; ^   6 V$ i1 Q, P  v" T: B5 {0 \
   AND
3 u; g0 {9 d. H8 x# U' y* h( N, @: B/ v9 }% N6 E
    Every time I start thinking too much# \# t! s( v' ~$ I# l
     about how I look,9 v( |  n) C* X. r6 A8 u' Q6 I9 f
    I just find a Happy Hour
" O9 H: e2 Z' a" F# {   and by the time I leave,
# v% I% o# n* w5 R: n2 }    I look just fine.
