There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.) J4 Q( m$ R2 M( C" s0 l) S
Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.1 F% h7 o9 E: ^% \) `4 _
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.6 i* q& v2 C+ b* X

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
. X4 e7 ^/ \% d7 h9 z4 VGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.% e2 l* M* x& F8 K3 B8 l
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
