2. this type of house is usually overpriced at 07/08 market peak since they are targets of the first time/entry level buyers and builders/sellers took advantage of it and asked for a lot more than it really worth. Look at the frontage you only see the garage, the entry door and nothing else, that means lot size and building pocket are small ; space between houses is tight. And watch out for the total sq ft, some 350 ft of which was built on top of the garage , this is a way to make up more sq ft at a lower cost but they sell it to you the same money as the rest of the sq footage. This type of house valued well below 30K(may be 26-27K if my memory serve) in 2005 while other same sq ft houses with high ceilings and no sq ft above garage valued around 40K. Compare their prices at present and you will see if this house is overpriced. So don't just look at the sq ft numbers which are misleading and the realtors never would tell you this truth. There are other factors too which play a part in the real costs. so do your own homework,research and analysis.
