综合高中，科目繁多，

有修车、美容、理发、烹饪（西餐为主）、室内装修、领袖培养等等。

都是考试，但结果不同。

在爱城IB的学校主要是较好的学校，先由学校申请，经过评估、考核方可有资格成为IB学校。

AP大多是小学和初中，高中也有，但不多，可以说AP在高中才刚刚兴起，在加拿大，绝大多数的大学（名校），看IB成绩的较多。

在美国两者一样，大学都承认这两种考试的成绩。

District gifted programming began in 1970, expanding in the 1980s to include the International Baccalaureate Program. In 1984 Academic Challenge was established for elementary and junior high students demonstrating advanced intellectual and academicabilities. Eligible students attended community schools or congregated district centre classes。
